I have served in both Central Scotland as it was then Stirling and Clackmannan Police Force in 1955 and finished in Metropolitan in 1984. We now have a memorial in both England and Scotland. It's good to see that you have one in Scotland at last. Good Luck.

It's Christmas Eve and one tends to do a lot of reflection at this time of year......and that is why I looked up my fathers name on Google and found this site.
My Dad, Sergeant Ross Hunt was murdered on 5 June 1983.
So this is a Christmas message for him and all police families...you are not forgotten and are still in our hearts.
Thank you to those that maintain this site. Be well. Ross Hunt Jr. and family.
Be well
Ross

As a former officer and wife of a retired officer I came across this site today, it is a fantastic and very worthwhile cause. There are names on it of collegues of my husband's and we wondered if it is possible to visit the site in person or must it be by prior arrangement
Webmaster's reply : Persons wishing to visit the memorial can do so between 0900-1700 daily.
