I am currently a student at the Scottish Police College - C Division - and an officer with Grampian Police. On Wednesday 6th September 2006, I had the honour of parading during this years memorial service for Scottish Police Officers.
I would like everyone to know that I feel it was a massive privilege given to me that day to honour fellow officers by attending such an emotional event. I would like to thank the SPMT and i hope the service continues to be an annual event.

Webmaster's reply : It was great to see you and your colleagues on parade. Some of the comments on the day included how proud it made people to see you march past the Memorial and the tremendous feeling of support it gave to the families as you all stood in formation during the service. Please pass on our thanks to your course.

Washington State Concerns of Police Survivors stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Scotland who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Godspeed, and know that your sacrifices are not forgotten.

On behalf of SPMT welcome to our Guestbook which has now been re-established following an endless blitz from 'spammers'. We appreciate all the messages of support in the past and have worked to ensure that all messages from our previous Guestbook remain visible. We look forward to hearing from more visitors to our website.

Great site however do not see my old boss Insp Robert Pryce Oliver BTP who died of a heart attack on mobile patrol in Stranraer in July 1985 or PC Paul REILLY BTP who in 1979 was murdered by his wife. Tam Williamson PS 2219 BTP

Webmaster's reply : Thanks Tam, as you will be aware Insp Oliver has now been added to the Roll and the Memorial. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Stu.
