I have just found out that my father, Inspector Duncan Macfarlane, is on this memorial and I am delighted that there is recognition for all the officers listed.I think the memorial looks beautiful and I look forward to seeing it very soon.

A great site. I saw the guest book with emotion. I am a retired chief inspector after 3 years with the Brussels Police District. I am Belgian with dual British nationlity. Best regards to all.

It was good to find the memorial for your collegues present and past. I was hoping to find my Gr Gr Grandfather Robert Craig.Robert was born in Derry ,Ireland c 1825. He is on the 1851 census as a Police Officer,living in Greenock west,married to Agnes with 4 children.His death cert 7/4/1886 and 18/04/1886,states He was a Police Sergeant and was found dead whilst on duty in the Police Box,Custom House Quay,Greenock. please let me know if you have any info archived.Best reagdrs Maureen Hoyland
