Scottish Police Memorial Trust

Welcome to our website. The Trust was founded in January 2003 to build and maintain a national memorial to all Scottish police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

The intention is to provide a tangible indication to survivors that they are not alone in remembering their fallen officer.

The walls of the memorial are engraved with names reaching as far back as 1770. This is the first time that all such names have been displayed together, in a fitting tribute to the price that officers have paid for protecting society.

We owe them a debt we can never repay, but we can ensure that they are never forgotten.
