Memorial for Off Duty or Retired Officers
Following many requests from families who wished to remember officers who didn’t meet the criteria for the Scottish Police Memorial it was agreed that a second memorial wall be built which would compliment the original wall. This wall was completed and unveiled in 2009.
The families or colleagues of Scottish officers who have died either while off duty or in retirement may now order a brass plaque engraved with the officer’s details. This plaque will then be attached to the wall.
