About the Trust

The Trust is a Scottish Charity, administered by a board of trustees. Their details can be found, along with the postal address and other contact details, on the Trustees page.

The Trust liases with all Scottish police forces, the Scottish Police College, the Scottish Police Federation, the Association of Scottish Police Superintendents, the Scottish Executive, and with Care of Police Survivors to ensure that the memorial reflects the needs of both the police service and surviving family members.

The Trust will continue to maintain the memorial, and will arrange visits for interested parties, including relatives.  There will also be an annual memorial service held, where new names will be added to the memorial walls. These may be new line of duty deaths, or deaths from the past that are presently under investigation to ensure that they meet the criteria for inclusion on the memorial.
